The New Settlement After-School Learning Centre is geared towards assisting the students with their homework through personalised and individual attention and creating an environment that will facilitate their learning experience. The New Settlement After-School Learning Centre embraces children of every level from primary to secondary.

Mission
To assure the success of individuals through sustainable and consistent teaching of proper morals, ethical and spiritual values that will assist in developing them cognitively, emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually.

Vision
To provide adequate facility where under supervision the student will be able to complete their homework with an aim to encourage learning.

Aim
To create an environment and opportunity for successful living for students and individualised their academic development through a home-based dynamic.

Objectives
• Support students to complete their home work assignments as a structured setting.
• Establish routines for revision and learning process.
• Create safe and productive spaces with easy access to materials.
• Establish and communicate a schedule that will help parents and students know what to expect.
• Encourage students to use time wisely through planned systems.
• Manage a consistent schedule that will help students develop an effective homework routine.
• Ensure a quiet, well-lit place to do homework.
• Supply materials that are specific to their coursework/homework when necessary.
• Provide books or educational games for students to use after homework is completed.
